Simply Jesus

March 29th, 2015

I want to live my life every day, 24/7, for the glory of the Lord. In fact, today I was sitting at my computer thinking to myself, can I  type and trust the Lord to make this late night spontaneous writing to bless someones life. I believe that as you read this tonight, you will honestly be encouraged and blessed!

Many times in the last two years I have wanted to give up on the dreams and visions God gave to me. Every time  God gave me hope! Sometimes it was a little glimpse, other times it was clear but I always step out and risk making a fool of myself, that Jesus will simply be exalted through my life.

I know the life I now life I live by faith in the Son of God, and I cannot give up. I dont always see clearly but i can see. As a husband and a father, there is a deep responsibility to love and lead like i never have before. Others are watching, they want to see if this life I live now, is truly by faith, or is it on my own. Am I truly walking with God, or alone? Can others see what God has shown to me, am I really living this out, that it really is simply Jesus loving on me and loving through me.

Galatians 2:20 (NLT) "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Luke 18: 7-8 (NLT) "Now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? “I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

John 3:30 (NLT) "He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less."

The CRY OF MY HEART - is what I bring to the Lord at the end of my life, worthy of His death on the cross and beautiful Resurrection! i desire the fruit of my labor, and for Him to say "Well done good and faithful servant" Will there be even one effort in faith that was of Kingdom value? I ask Holy Spirit to please reveal Your heart in this matter. AMEN. Will you give me grace today, to be a witness that lives my life to serve the Gospel to a lost and dying generation. Today in Jesus name.

Today and every day, may our lives be lived out, to bring honor and glory to the name of Jesus.

On Fire for Jesus,

God's goodness and power

The greatest hope is only confirmed by God's goodness and power in Jesus,  and in you and I by the power if the Holy Spirit ...

Romans 8:18-39 is the passage I read this morning. And great peace has swept over me. The peace of God.

We walk by faith in hope of what we are being led in to will be exactly how God revealed it to be. The hope of redemption and salvation is a great hope and even though we have not seen it with our own eyes we see evidence all around us by the grace of God.

God leaves us evidence of His greatness and power, so we can conclude that there is no one greater or more powerful than He is. In fact, we do see miracles every day glory to God! By the power of the Holy Spirit. Even when evil arises,  the goodness and power of God will prevail as greater than evil - rescuing the inocent, bringing justice to the afflicted and delivering the prisoner from iron bars! But you must wait on the Lord, and He shall renew your strength

Romans 8:26-30 NLT
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

Life is not an accident - live on purpose

When you are given a paintbrush, paint someone for someone else, without expecting anything in return! When you are going through a struggle, don't cave in , fight through victoriously!

You are not reading this blog by accident and your life is not an accident! In fact God wants you to be at rest, take authority over the enemy of your soul in Jesus name and allow the Holy Spirit to help you in all your needs today. As the season of intense favor and blessing rolls in, remember who to thank. Thank God! He is perfect and right on time.

Holy Spirit spoke this to me:
“I have placed a broken coconut in your hand, what will you do with it? Will you make it useful? You are no longer under a death sentence, you are my beloved child, full of purpose, dreams and vision! Full of heavens light and life! Let My fire strike the Nations! Wherever you go, do not fear, I truly am with you. Though multitudes may laugh at you, I laugh with victory over My foes! You will see many more miracles, signs and wonders happen before your eyes than ever before and you will testify more clearly with intense favor and blessing no one can resist but see, you are My beloved child. It doesn't matter what anyone says, You are mine and I will avenge the accusers! I will never leave you because I have truly blessed you with life forever.” ~Holy Spirit

Two Amazing Scriptures
{I was once under the death sentence of sin, and the powers of hell had gripped me. But Jesus gave His whole life, every drop of blood He gave so that I may live. So the life I now live, I live by faith and trust in the living God, who loved me and gave His life for me. I am now free and full of the Holy Spirit and Fire.}

Romans 8: 1-4 (NLT)
1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you[b] from the power of sin that leads to death. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature.[c] So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.

John 3:16-21 (NLT)
16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. 18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. 19 And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21 But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.

Supernatural Assurance

Hebrews 11:1-2 (NLT) "Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

I cannot see it yet, but I am not giving up. God will do it.

Faith IS THE confidence in what we hope for, because what we hope for has been given by God. Unless God reveals His plan, we walk on our own. You must know you walk with God, and have confidence in what He has shared with you! There is no doubt in my heart today as I reflect on this powerful scripture  that there is a supernatural release of assurance about what we cannot see today, and we need it. It is not time to give up, it is time to press on!

Have you ever saw something so clear in prayer, in a vision or a dream? Yet that thing has not yet manifested in the natural realm? In fact, it seems all hell breaks loose and no one believes you, no one wants to hear you in the matter and then a loneliness almost settles in? Just because you have faith, does not mean that you will not face opposition. What you hope for will most certainly first take you through a fire. This same fire will test the hope, purify your motives and build assurance in your spirit. But we must keep our gaze on The Savior, giver of faith!

Faith is cultivated in the atmosphere of magnifying The Father, and walking in humility. When we take a step of faith, to walk in what God has spoken to us at any point in our life, there then comes a supernatural humility. A humility that has its aim on the Father. In this position of humility, God deals with our hearts. In the place of repentance, God lifts us up, and leads us with peace. He promises, no matter how hard things get, that we will prosper in every way regardless of where He sends us.

Our salvation, and gifts cannot be earned. They are Gods beautiful gifts. Some of our most treasured moments with God are those moments where He simply whispers and comforts floods our soul. It is absolutely liberating to know Him and His plans for our life! A good reputation is not given, it is earned.

You must go through the fire, times of testing and periods of waiting. There may even be things God wants you to place on hold for a season, just so He can release the greater things. The things you have been hoping for are being purified.

Just like those hero's of ours, those who have set the tone for what we walk in today have set aside their own ambitions for the Fathers, so must we. A life lived in faith is no easy life, but it is a life of goodness and prosperity at its purest level. We have abundance so we can experience all God desires. Not only for us, but for the ONE and the MULTITUDES He is bringing us to. All so that Jesus is magnified and souls won for Him.

Don't worry about your reputation, God will take care of you!Transformation takes place, when our hearts are postured in faith. And this same faith, propels us to establish our confidence and reputation that is centered in the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness.

Father, today, I ask you to help me see what I am not seeing clearly. I need you help, and I need your wisdom. Help me connect only for the Kingdom of God, in Jesus name. Amen.

As you Go, ... Notice the beauty others pass.

During my devotional time at home I noticed this in Proverbs 14:15-21. That the foolish self centered quick tempered person misses out on the blessing of God. There is confidence when walking in faith, opposition to a real love walk and  tender-heart toward the poor in spirit. The impoverished are not just those with out materially, but the materially wealthy without compassion; that kills more. People can raise themselves up into a place of honor, but the humble wait on the Lord and rise in faith.

Is faith in your field?

Matthew 13:31-32 (NIV1984) “He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

God has blessed you with a "field". Within the parameters of that field there is plenty ground to plant seed, and build. The seed you have may seem small, but plant it. There is supernatural growth coming, and there are dreams within that seed coming to pass.

Now is the time to prepare the ground with prayer, dig with passion, and lay your precious seed in the ground. Surrender those dreams to the Dream-giver and the Seed-Provider.

Is there faith in your field? Without faith, it's just another field with no attraction or blessing. Are you taking God serious with what He has spoken and with what He has blessed you with? Take a moment and begin building on the faith He has gifted you with, because He is about to grow the faith in your field. The Kingdom of heaven is released through your obedience to lay the seed in the soil.

Faith is what releases supernatural growth to your natural field, and prosperity for everyone to be blessed with the increase. The seed given to is God's gift and is the natural means to help us activate our faith. It is only a seed in your hand unless it is planted in the field.
Look into the fields, can you see the fields are ripe for harvesting, can you see they are waiting for you to go by faith? The season is now to preach the Gospel, don't hold back, don't be shy with the blessing of God! Bring GOOD NEWS! Salvation, Healing, Deliverance to all Nations. GO into ALL the earth, Preaching the Gospel in Jesus name.

Tested by Cross Fire

Last night I had a dream, which I felt urgent to write about. I went to bed very peaceful, and with what I would say a blissful smile. When I have dreams, I take them seriously. I do not claim to be a dream interpreter, I just take them as they are and ask God to help me understand them. I know dreams are very significant on many levels and we see this throughout scripture too.  This dream was full of suspense, drama and encouragement. Here it is:

DREAM: “It was a late night, after a packed day, and I was walking home with some friends I had been working with. As we were walking, it came to our attention that we were being followed. It took us a minute to realize we were in possible danger. As we continued to walk faster our hearts palpitated as the intensity grew moment by moment until we arrived home. As we entered the house, we knew we were safe, but we still watched closely outside to be sure no one was lurking around. Creepy, yes, of course, but I must say the dream got more intense.

The house we were in was very large, 3 levels and many rooms. It was only 4 of us inside of the home. As we settled down for the night, and began to get rested up, we heard a loud crash downstairs. We got together and began to look around, but did not see anyone inside the home. After that we all got together, and prayed, one of my friends mentioned to me that they felt I was personally in danger. As I felt cornered in this room, even after the prayer, the urgency to respond rose in my heart. I knew I needed to do something.

With the feeling of my life at risk, and with the feeling of death near, part of me wanted to hide; but there was a surge of power on the inside of me that began to stir up. Faith inside me said, I am not going to die, my life is not over. I will not lie here and take an assault to my death!

The thought of death was next to paralyzing my movement. I was thinking about my life flashing before my eyes, and my friends with me. Unexpectedly,  2 men, fully armed came rushing in attack. Without even thinking and surged toward them in counter attack, and I spoke these words: murdering spirit, I command you lose your power now in Jesus name and I take authority over you and any plans you have against me in Jesus name and I plunder your work here it is finished! I quickly rushed the two men and I disarmed them of all their weapons; they kept on pulling new weapons out and as fast as they brought them out, I demolished them and all their power and they ran off squealing like little piggies.

These were mighty men, strong and armed like I have never seen before. It was delightful to see how God stirred my heart and revealed exactly what to say and do to be victorious in a very deadly situation. Even as I struggled in the fight, one of the others with me stayed and watched and the others escaped outside witnessing the men running out.”

Then this word came to me: “You must focus, and do nothing outside of what I speak, and lead you to do; everything else is meaningless, and will detract you from My best for your life. It is not about how much you do, its about doing what I called you to. You are a soul winner, go after it with vigor and wisdom, hold nothing back, preach the Gospel how I have revealed Myself to you”

When I woke up from the dream, I felt encouraged. The suspense of the dream and the reality of the attack settled on me. There is a real battle, and we need to wake up to the urgency of the hour now. We cannot sit back and allow the enemy to murder our destiny right before our eyes. We must respond, just as is fitting in the word.

When we truly desire to follow Jesus, the enemy attacks like wild fire against that plan, but greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world. There is no real profit in temporal gain, there is real satisfaction in eternal investments. We are tested by the crossfire of the enemy, to see where our faith and trust is.

Matt 16:24-28 (NKJV) “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
