Beauty of Hope

I am taking a moment to write this as the Holy Spirit woke me up at 305 am. (Partially because my daughter woke up too) You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free! #2015 Holy Spirit Extravaganza!! Blast into the New Year 2015 with great Hope! Jesus is the resurrection and the LIFE. May the Holy Spirit fill you up for another great year, enjoy this quick devotional:

BEAUTY and HOPE
John 11:25-26 (NLT) Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life, anyone who believes in Me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in Me and believes in Me will never die, do you believe this Martha?”

Matthew 5:24 (NLT) “I tell you the truth, those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death to life."

These two passages remind me
of the famous John 3:16 (NLT) “For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus is the resurrection and the life, there is only death apart from Him so I pray that Abba breathes HIs breath upon your life today amen! Holy Spirit is a rushing wind of goodness on your life forever. He promises to comfort and to be with you always, and He will.

Do not think that God is finished with you, your family or your Nation, because He is not. He is only looking for a willing soul, who will go into all the earth and preach the Gospel. To you God will reveal how that looks, but it looks lovely and it looks bold in the face of your enemy. So Lets Go!

The beauty and hope of Jesus is that He is perfect and He is always on time. The season you are in is simply a test of faith. Like Mary and Martha, when Lazarus “fell asleep”, they called on and sent messengers to the One they knew could raise him to life, and that Jesus did, in the public eye so all would have a great opportunity to trust God!

God is raising up a people who are willing to step out in faith, amidst even doubt and not worry or fear man, but to rise up and please God; in faith. God is with you always, simply turn your heart to Him, trust Him and receive Him as the resurrection and life today – Lord and Savior of your life. He will give you eternal life that no one can take away, not death or any uncontrollable situation. God bless you today! #JedLindstrom #LGM2015

"Something out of Nothing" - Lets GO!

This morning I was preparing for our new MEN'S BIBLE STUDY called "Kickin' it Ol' School" --- It was a vision of kicking off the new year in a practical yet personal way in the word of God. So I decided to have the study @ a place where there would be an opportunity right away to reach out to each other and those around us, whatever came first - @Panera Bread. I believe God wants to do something through our life.

Too many of my fellow friends, and Christian brothers and sisters are settling for second best, a life of Christian socialism and community gluttony. We cannot allow "cliques" to separate us from working together any longer, we must together, be about our Fathers business. No one is greater, or superior, we all have our place, and that needs to be respected and utilized in order to harvest souls for the glory of God. God wants to do something out of the nothing of our life.

When God appointed these people they came out of seemingly nowhere, to do something extraordinary!

Something out of Nothing
Our life is not pointless! Even when it seems like things arent making sense, they will make sense in Jesus name. So .. Why "something out of nothing? The reality is, there is a generation now, God is raising up a people who have never really been seen, but He has chosen. People have been sitting in seats too long, doing nothing, and God is replacing the lazy, with the anointed.

God is raising up a generation, to be presented as honorable in the presence of their enemies. For years, opposition has come and people influenced by demonic strategies have oppressed leaders God desires to raise up, but NO MORE God says. NOw is the season, that the "NO NAMERS" will be honoring, respectable of past generations, yet bold and courageous with the vision of God - and God will reveal He is in it through the miracles that build the work.

In reading Luke 10:1-2, "After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also,[a] and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

I will to draw life from a few words, and begin to ask the Holy Spirit to bring revelation to our hearts. Baptize us Abba, with grace and understanding.

Two words to focus on here:
1. Appointed by God - God chooses with purpose in mind; a specific job. We are His chosen people, ambassadors/representatives of His Kingdom with His power. (Example found in Acts 6:3) Those appointed also have characteristics honoring that position. Jesus Chose and Declared the people He appointed as faithful and trustworthy, filled with the Holy Spirit; this was an open declaration and evidence that God is with them - not something private.

- How do you know what you are "appointed" to? God will make it clear, and give confirmation through reliable Godly leadership in your life. You will take radical steps of faith.

2. Sent by God - God sends us to the place He appointed us to Go. We are sent with the freedom God gave us. A freedom which liberates those in captive! (Isaiah 61 and Luke 4)

- As He sends us, remember you are not alone. In fact He not only promises He is with you, but there will always be a "Co-Laborer" with you as you ask for help in the mission.

3. Two by Two - Why two by two? I believe God did this on purpose! So we would have another witness for what we will experience, to broaden testimony through accounts of Gods greatness in full manifestation, for accountability, Support and further help. It was significant to send these believers out with the wisdom and power of God, continually declaring the Kingdom of God, and having someone to share the joy with!

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION

God appoints us, sends us two by two before His face into every city and place where He is about to show up! Now are there times we are on our own in the workplaces, yes. But in special operations, where there are destinations to travel, and assignments at hand, God divinely sets things together, for everyone to share in Kingdom blessing.

In the following weeks, we will see how Luke 10 unravels:
1. We will see how God can do a lot with a little
2. You will understand clearly what God wants you to do now.
3. You will be empowered and sent with a message that will touch you deep and give new life to those all around you.

As you GO into ALL the Earth remember how much God loves you, and remember what He has done in your life. Prepare your heart, and share your story, how God revealed Himself to you, how He saved you.

God bless you! Jed Lindstrom

Strengthen our nets

Recently I had been praying and I heard the word, strengthen your net. I knew this was a word for me personally, so I began to change some things and adjust my heart and life in a posture to receive what God was giving to me and what He had entrusted me to give to others. Looking for areas in my life that He desired to strengthen. As I listened closely, the Holy Spirit kept ministering to me about gathering the Church together, to MOBILIZE, PREPARE FOR HARVEST and FILL THE CHURCH! But how I asked? One of the main things that stood out to me in prayer was a fishing net, and how when a net has holes or is damaged, it needs to be repaired or all together replaced. And in this case, I do believe He spoke about repairing and strengthening our nets for the HARVEST. The church cannot reach a city or a nation on its own and certainly not with hurts and damages from past experiences! We need each other strengthened and ready. God is calling us to gather together for one of the largest revivals about to take place, and we need to be ready. We may all have a sphere of influence, but times are coming when we need to strengthen our nets, gather and clean up. God is with us, and by His grace and leading we will see an amazing awakening. I am in, and I am ready to Co-Labor. Strong nets, hold large catches! More Lord, we want to see more souls, souls and more souls know you intimately and experience your healing and freedom.

Stir Love

How can we possibly consider anyone else besides our self? It’s possible when we are established in the Love of God. But we must understand, it is not natural to consider others as better than you. It would be nice, but that is something that gets stirred up in prayer and in fellowship. Someone always gets blessed when heavenly Love is manifested through the Spirit of God and the people of God.

There is a love, which comes natural to man but is fleshly; it is a love that thrives on personal attention, gratification and personal gain. It's a love that builds off ego and personal agenda, not Kingdom principles.  The love of the flesh is driven by pride and falls in the heat of Gods fire. The love of self-manifests its true state when a genuine opportunity to love people as God loves them arrives.

That’s the test; when God draws someone to you for help. He has given you what you need to give to them. A loving word, healing touch or insight into a situation. But will you trust the love He has placed inside you? It is not only for you, but to bless others.

There is a supernatural love that needs to be stirred on the inside of us. The Holy Spirit deposited that love. When this love is provoked by another, it stimulates your heart and mind to not only visualize His will, but put it into action. When God gathers His people, in any way, there is a stirring of love that provokes to heavenly good works and freedom. These are not works that save us, these are works that share the Freedom we have received from the Father. We freely give because we are walking with  Jesus Christ. On earth as it is in heaven is the heart of the Father.

What are these good works? Well, it's you walking alongside someone who is losing and wants give up on life. There may be someone who wants to end their life tonight, and that one stirring from The Spirit of God on the inside of you and encouragement from a friend could save their life. One act of obedience could stir a great reviving fire! Go forth, into all the earth, and stir up the Love of God, and be a blessing to everyone you can; preach the Gospel, and never look back.

Tested by Cross Fire

Last night I had a dream, which I felt urgent to write about. I went to bed very peaceful, and with what I would say a blissful smile. When I have dreams, I take them seriously. I do not claim to be a dream interpreter, I just take them as they are and ask God to help me understand them. I know dreams are very significant on many levels and we see this throughout scripture too.  This dream was full of suspense, drama and encouragement. Here it is:

DREAM: “It was a late night, after a packed day, and I was walking home with some friends I had been working with. As we were walking, it came to our attention that we were being followed. It took us a minute to realize we were in possible danger. As we continued to walk faster our hearts palpitated as the intensity grew moment by moment until we arrived home. As we entered the house, we knew we were safe, but we still watched closely outside to be sure no one was lurking around. Creepy, yes, of course, but I must say the dream got more intense.

The house we were in was very large, 3 levels and many rooms. It was only 4 of us inside of the home. As we settled down for the night, and began to get rested up, we heard a loud crash downstairs. We got together and began to look around, but did not see anyone inside the home. After that we all got together, and prayed, one of my friends mentioned to me that they felt I was personally in danger. As I felt cornered in this room, even after the prayer, the urgency to respond rose in my heart. I knew I needed to do something.

With the feeling of my life at risk, and with the feeling of death near, part of me wanted to hide; but there was a surge of power on the inside of me that began to stir up. Faith inside me said, I am not going to die, my life is not over. I will not lie here and take an assault to my death!

The thought of death was next to paralyzing my movement. I was thinking about my life flashing before my eyes, and my friends with me. Unexpectedly,  2 men, fully armed came rushing in attack. Without even thinking and surged toward them in counter attack, and I spoke these words: murdering spirit, I command you lose your power now in Jesus name and I take authority over you and any plans you have against me in Jesus name and I plunder your work here it is finished! I quickly rushed the two men and I disarmed them of all their weapons; they kept on pulling new weapons out and as fast as they brought them out, I demolished them and all their power and they ran off squealing like little piggies.

These were mighty men, strong and armed like I have never seen before. It was delightful to see how God stirred my heart and revealed exactly what to say and do to be victorious in a very deadly situation. Even as I struggled in the fight, one of the others with me stayed and watched and the others escaped outside witnessing the men running out.”

Then this word came to me: “You must focus, and do nothing outside of what I speak, and lead you to do; everything else is meaningless, and will detract you from My best for your life. It is not about how much you do, its about doing what I called you to. You are a soul winner, go after it with vigor and wisdom, hold nothing back, preach the Gospel how I have revealed Myself to you”

When I woke up from the dream, I felt encouraged. The suspense of the dream and the reality of the attack settled on me. There is a real battle, and we need to wake up to the urgency of the hour now. We cannot sit back and allow the enemy to murder our destiny right before our eyes. We must respond, just as is fitting in the word.

When we truly desire to follow Jesus, the enemy attacks like wild fire against that plan, but greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world. There is no real profit in temporal gain, there is real satisfaction in eternal investments. We are tested by the crossfire of the enemy, to see where our faith and trust is.

Matt 16:24-28 (NKJV) “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
