Revival @ The Alter

There was a day, that a pipe broke, and water gushed through a church, starting in the storage room, leading into the prayer room, preparation room then into the sanctuary. This was a day that flooded a sanctuary, but brought His people together. I believe that God was showing me that day that His Spirit is like this water gushing, desiring to fill His home, and His people, designing a place where lives are changed and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

During worship the Lord said speak this word in My house:
"I am reviving you, I am setting a fire on the inside of you that no one can quench. The fire of My Spirit!! Will you let me stir you? Will you let your guard down so My fire can burn and bless? Advance in freedom and open My altar in My house. It has been closed for too long and My desire is for transformation at My altar. My altar is the place of change and revival. Don’t be afraid I am with you. From My altar I will bless this place and give you the desire of your hearts. I am reviving you and revealing My true plan. It’s clear, it’s now!

Mystery Location reveal: Morris Brown College ATL

In Daytona Beach, Florida, a group of believers prayed for direction (on 1.4.2013) for Lets Go Ministry Atlanta mission’s trip and threw three darts at a map of the city of Atlanta, Georgia. The first dart landed on the campus of Morris Brown College. Our intent was to pray for whomever we might find there. We use creative ministry tools thought up by team members and inspired by the Holy Spirit for each mission, helping bring suspense and success.

Outreach at Morris Brown College on January 9, 2013 is a day we will never forget.  As we pulled up to the corner of Vine and MLKJR Blvd to our ministry location down town Atlanta Ga, to our surprise 95% of the buildings boarded up. We knew God brought us to this location, so we parked in faith. As we walked around the buildings, past the abandoned stadium (which was built for the 1996 ATL Olympics) and abandon police cars and trucks we began to pray over the property for healing and restoration. As we were walking across a footbridge and praying we came across a building that had an unusual memorial sign, signifying “Victory Campaign 1944”; and on it were all the contributors. This stood out to us.

One of our Co-Laborers Russell Holloway, had it on his heart to pray for these descendants, that they would be blessed and the original vision the men had for the college would not be forgotten. We all came in agreement laid our hands together and asked God for breakthrough!

A Police officer just around the corner ended up being a huge breakthrough in this mission. He is a born again Christian, on site security Police officer. We asked him about the property, and why it was all boarded up.

He said MBC went through major changes due to a major failure and financial situation years ago. Part of the school is still running but not much. The whole time we were talking to the officer, my heart was touched. The officer said a few things that grabbed my attention, pointed us over to the admin building and right away I knew I was being led to go there and pray with the President of the school.

I had no idea how this would happen but I knew it was going to happen somehow. So I explained to Will and Russell what was on my heart and we headed into the admin building.

God was setting this up and no one could shake it off. We entered the school and I approached the secretary. Introduced myself and our purpose: “we are here to pray with the President of your college”. She smiled, and went in the back, and when she returned she was with the President of Morris Brown College Dr. Stanley J. Pritchett Sr.

I showed Dr Stanley a picture of the dart from my phone and the vision of our mission, and he was excited immediately. He wanted his whole staff to see it and for us to share with them personally. He called in about 13 staff members and opened the door for us to hear their hearts. We prayed and ministered to the entire staff, Will J. Dineen handed out our story tracts to everyone too. Two ladies in the room were descendants of some on the plaque who we prayed for; confirming what God was establishing.

Many had their cell phones out, taking pictures and video during the ministry time. They highly encouraged us, by their persistence in the midst of all we heard about. We kept speaking life and for the original vision to be kept strong and alive.

What really stood out to our team was how God used each of us. God’s heart is heavy for this school, and their property. He has forgiven the sins of past, and is reviving the vision. Just as God spoke to us as a team, we spoke it to these leaders.

Dr Stanley and his staff continued to express their amazement with how we met, over-joyed and impressed. The excitement of whats happening here still excites us and i know there is more.

I have already re-connected with President Dr. Stanley J. Pritchett, Sr. of Morris Brown College, and I shared a word God gave to me for him and his staff from my heart and how I want to help in any way I can; also affirming the words spoken by our team. Even though I have read some of the history, successes and failures, I see God is doing something amazing here and He sent us with a purpose to MBC; restoration, healing and the furtherance of the Gospel rising up in this generation. (Learn about MBC or Morris Brown College)

Here is a picture (taken by Russell) of us after the ministry time: Also, if you would like to learn more about how you can help this school rebuild, contact us right away.

I want to give all the glory to Jesus Christ for this great impact. Also to our ATL mystery mission team (Will Dineen, Russell Holloway, Lets Go Ministry Executive board, intercessory team, Church support and financial team for making the vision and mission possible) for paving the way in prayer and prophetic insight.

Tested by Cross Fire

Last night I had a dream, which I felt urgent to write about. I went to bed very peaceful, and with what I would say a blissful smile. When I have dreams, I take them seriously. I do not claim to be a dream interpreter, I just take them as they are and ask God to help me understand them. I know dreams are very significant on many levels and we see this throughout scripture too.  This dream was full of suspense, drama and encouragement. Here it is:

DREAM: “It was a late night, after a packed day, and I was walking home with some friends I had been working with. As we were walking, it came to our attention that we were being followed. It took us a minute to realize we were in possible danger. As we continued to walk faster our hearts palpitated as the intensity grew moment by moment until we arrived home. As we entered the house, we knew we were safe, but we still watched closely outside to be sure no one was lurking around. Creepy, yes, of course, but I must say the dream got more intense.

The house we were in was very large, 3 levels and many rooms. It was only 4 of us inside of the home. As we settled down for the night, and began to get rested up, we heard a loud crash downstairs. We got together and began to look around, but did not see anyone inside the home. After that we all got together, and prayed, one of my friends mentioned to me that they felt I was personally in danger. As I felt cornered in this room, even after the prayer, the urgency to respond rose in my heart. I knew I needed to do something.

With the feeling of my life at risk, and with the feeling of death near, part of me wanted to hide; but there was a surge of power on the inside of me that began to stir up. Faith inside me said, I am not going to die, my life is not over. I will not lie here and take an assault to my death!

The thought of death was next to paralyzing my movement. I was thinking about my life flashing before my eyes, and my friends with me. Unexpectedly,  2 men, fully armed came rushing in attack. Without even thinking and surged toward them in counter attack, and I spoke these words: murdering spirit, I command you lose your power now in Jesus name and I take authority over you and any plans you have against me in Jesus name and I plunder your work here it is finished! I quickly rushed the two men and I disarmed them of all their weapons; they kept on pulling new weapons out and as fast as they brought them out, I demolished them and all their power and they ran off squealing like little piggies.

These were mighty men, strong and armed like I have never seen before. It was delightful to see how God stirred my heart and revealed exactly what to say and do to be victorious in a very deadly situation. Even as I struggled in the fight, one of the others with me stayed and watched and the others escaped outside witnessing the men running out.”

Then this word came to me: “You must focus, and do nothing outside of what I speak, and lead you to do; everything else is meaningless, and will detract you from My best for your life. It is not about how much you do, its about doing what I called you to. You are a soul winner, go after it with vigor and wisdom, hold nothing back, preach the Gospel how I have revealed Myself to you”

When I woke up from the dream, I felt encouraged. The suspense of the dream and the reality of the attack settled on me. There is a real battle, and we need to wake up to the urgency of the hour now. We cannot sit back and allow the enemy to murder our destiny right before our eyes. We must respond, just as is fitting in the word.

When we truly desire to follow Jesus, the enemy attacks like wild fire against that plan, but greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world. There is no real profit in temporal gain, there is real satisfaction in eternal investments. We are tested by the crossfire of the enemy, to see where our faith and trust is.

Matt 16:24-28 (NKJV) “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

Change for transformation

I was going about my day today when i received an email from a friend. She was asking me to stop by to pick up a donation. We have a current match donation through the end of the year of $2500, and we have received $1600.

As i arrived in her driveway, she came out holding this jar, full of all Quarters, Nickles and Dimes. As i held it, i felt the love of Jesus strong and a radiant glow of God shined off this friend of mine. I was immediately struck with how God provides for His missions.

The amount was $103.75! Psalm 103:5-7 (AMP) "Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! The Lord executes righteousness and justice [not for me only, but] for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways [of righteousness and justice] to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel."

This is more than CHANGE, this will help bring TRANSFORMATION in this GENERATION!  This CHANGE will help us leave a LEGACY for the years to come! Praise God.

It hit my heart: this women gave us what she was saving for her vacation! "It was no big deal" she said. "God is bringing many together to supply for the great harvest work ahead." Wow, amazing! Her investment, into souls, will be multiplied! I personally went to pick up this donation, because I believe the Spirit of God was revealing that the best gifts, are given from a joyful giver, and multiplies through many other joyful givers.

Today, I began to thank God as i counted and rolled each coin. I thanked Him for my friends, family, churches, ministries and loved ones, who have given with a joyful heart, no strings attached, and have done it to simply see the Kingdom of God be manifest, and souls won for the glory of the King, our Heavenly Father God; Abba. As i counted the change, and was praying for my friend to receive increase from her seed, i was blessed with peace. So this peace i can carry, as i seek first Gods Kingdom, and God provides the team and provisions.

We must, GO into ALL the world.
